#1 Luke Harper
“Remember fireflies, I’ll always light the way. All you have to do is let me in.”
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
Those words from Bray Wyatt, which were said towards the end of his Firefly Fun House segment, seem to suggest that his reformed character will remain a leader, just like during his Wyatt Family days, but the difference now is that he is no longer a “bad man” and he has seen the error of his ways.
Luke Harper was one of Wyatt’s original followers in 2012 – he was even described as “The First Son” of The Wyatt Family – but he recently posted a statement on social media revealing that he has asked for his release from WWE.
Unlike other Superstars who were granted their release soon after publicly asking to leave the company in the past, notably Jack Swagger and Tye Dillinger, there has been no word yet from WWE on whether Harper will stay or whether he has been let go from his contract.
It is clear that the former Intercontinental champion is hugely passionate about the wrestling industry, as he showed in his lengthy post about WrestleMania Axxess in March, so perhaps he could be convinced to stay in WWE if the company assures him that he will be used in prominent storylines with Wyatt moving forward.
