Shane McMahon is the Commissioner of SmackDown LIVE

Shane McMahon is currently the Commissioner of SmackDown LIVE, and also works as a part-time wrestler. He is the son of the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon. He is known for his high-risk manoeuvres and fearlessness.

Shane returned to the WWE in 2016 and became the Commissioner of SmackDown LIVE in the latter half of the same year.

When he returned, all the fans expected him to be just an authority figure, rather than a professional wrestler because of his age. He is a 48-year-old man, who still performs risky moves like the top rope Shooting Star Press.

However, at this age, it's not suitable for anyone to wrestle at the age of 48. He debuted in 1989, so he has worked as a wrestler for a sufficient time. He has a family to take care of, so he must try to avoid wrestling. His career as an authority figure can go on even without wrestling.
