We have seen in the past how Vince loves to turn fan favorites into instant heels to toy with the WWE Universe. There are already too many rumors of The New Day splitting for good. The heel turn has to come from someone and that someone could be the most popular member of the group at present namely Kofi Kingston.

Hypothetically, after losing his championship to any heel in the future, Kofi can turn on Big E and Woods. Some would argue that more than anyone else, Big E deserves to have a singles push and that he has the potential to be a champion all by himself. Of late, he has been fire on the mic too. But that may also mean that Woods and Kofi may just become mid-card stars. WWE Universe will surely love to see what heel Kofi brings on the table and make The New Day more relevant collectively.
