While WWE ended up turning The Miz babyface for his program with Shane McMahon, the reality is that the fans just don't want to see the character as one of the company's top good guys.
On top of that, it's probably pretty safe to assume that his feud with Shane McMahon is now over, simply because Shane probably won't be wrestling again until the next major WWE pay-per-view, which will be SummerSlam.
So there's really no need for The Miz to be a babyface at the moment, as fans would likely cheer whichever heel he ends up in the ring with coming out of WrestleMania 35.
On top of that, we've seen over all the many years that The Miz is just better suited to be a heel, as he's one of the few performers on the WWE roster who can actually get heat from the fans.
