New WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor has been vastly underutilized throughout most of his tenure on the main roster. On top of that, he hasn't been a heel ever since he left the Japanese wrestling scene for NXT. So, he's probably due for a heel turn at some point in the near future, possibly during tonight's episode of Raw.

If you've seen Balor's work in Japan, then you'll know that he's probably better suited for a heel role. Also, it's quite clear that Vince McMahon just doesn't believe that the new IC Champ can be one of the company's signature heroes, but he might have no problem with him being a top antagonist.
A Finn Balor heel turn would bring about a ton of fresh new matches, and it could help rejuvenate the former Universal Champion on the main roster, as he's been stuck in the mid card for the majority of his run since being called up from NXT.
