#2 Lacey Evans
Like the aforementioned Heavy Machinery, Lacey Evans was called up to WWE's main roster at the tail-end of last year. The year she had was certainly interesting, to say the least. Evans was the first entrant of the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble Match and kept making infuriatingly inconsequential appearances during the Road to WrestleMania. On the RAW after WrestleMania, Evans interrupted Becky Lynch, one night following her ultimate triumph.
She proceeded to feud with The Man for the RAW Women's Championship, in a saga that likely lasted longer than it should have. Evans looked slightly out of her depth, showing that she still needed some improvement before stepping back to the top of the women's division. The Sassy Southern Belle has tremendous potential though, having a fantastic hold of her gimmick, constantly improving in the ring and making history while doing so.
Evans was the first woman, alongside Natalya, to wrestle a match in Saudi Arabia at this year's Crown Jewel event. She turned face a month or so ago and could fulfil her potential in the coming year. Whether or not she wins singles gold in 2020, a stint in the women's tag division would prove to beneficial to her progress. Lacey Evans could even form a super-babyface team with Natalya, after bonding over their history-making moment together.
