Bobby Roode's 'Glorious' gimmick works better for a heel

It’s been a while since we saw a double-turn in the same match, with the most recent high-profile example being between Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio at Payback 2013, but it would certainly make sense if WWE went down that storyline route between Bobby Roode and Curt Hawkins.

The two squared off in a short match on this week’s episode of Raw, with Roode getting an easy victory following a Glorious DDT. However, as is often the case with the former United States champion, fans are struggling to fully support him as a babyface and the majority of the audience would much rather see him as a heel.

Top name doesn't want to enter the WWE Hall of Fame. More details HERE.

If the two meet again further down the line, it’d be great to see Hawkins produce a major upset by defeating “The Glorious One”, who could then turn heel – and fully turn Hawkins into a face in the process – by attacking his opponent post-match.
