Yes, I agree that CM Punk had a great career in WWE and he is still popular among the fans. However, it doesn't mean that he didn't mess things up.

Punk never adored the way WWE treated him during his time in the company. He has always complained about how WWE doesn't care about their wrestlers and the way doctors treated him.

The Straight Edge Superstar wanted to main event WrestleMania but never got the opportunity to do so. It could also be a reason why he doesn't want to return to Vince McMahon's billion dollar company.

A majority of WWE fans believe that Punk left WWE on his own terms, but it isn't the truth. The former world champion didn't leave the company, as he actually got fired on his wedding day (yes, I had to mention this).

There are many rumours around the web on why Punk got fired by WWE, but from what I have observed, I think that it was probably because of his ego and heat with Triple H.

After all, why would WWE want to release one of the biggest superstars of all time? And that was the end of CM Punk's WWE and wrestling career. Had he been more pleasant towards the officials, the case might have been significantly different.
