5 WWE Superstars who deserve to be in a title picture right now

Kevin Owens has absolutely won over the WWE Universe since turning face last year in a feud against Shane McMahon. After he eventually got Shane O'Mac fired from the role of General Manager of SmackDown, he moved to RAW following the WWE Draft.

It's hard to forget the barnburner of a match that he put up as the fourth member of Team Ciampa against the Undisputed Era at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in October last year. Eventually, The Prizefighter would feud against the likes of Seth Rollins and the Authors of Pain, a storyline that culminated on WrestleMania with KO picking up a huge win.

The time seems ripe for Owens to enter the title picture once again as he hasn't held any gold since losing the United States Championship to AJ Styles back in late 2017. He would do a great job challenging for either the US title or the WWE Championship, but given the sort of momentum he has, he seems more suited for a run at the world title. Moreover, KO has been a Universal Champion in the past, but he's yet to claim the WWE Championship yet. Maybe that could change soon.
