The Miz, for the first time in his career, has finally found his stride as a full-fledged babyface. Nobody would have expected it to happen the way it did, but the build with the Shane McMahon story was great and it gave fans a reason to get behind The Miz.

The organic face turn was a big step for The Miz, who was unfortunately unsuccessful at WrestleMania. Despite changing brands (for the third Shake-up in a row), The Miz hasn't wasted any time in going after the SmackDown commissioner.
They find themselves locked in a steel cage, with no possible way of Elias trying to cause an interference. The big grudge feud is finally set to come to an end inside the steel cage and one thing is for certain - The Miz needs the win.
Shane McMahon would gain nothing out of the win and it would likely lead to The Miz quickly turning heel again. He needs a proper babyface run this time.
