Roman Reigns’ former Shield brother, Seth Rollins has defeated him thrice via pinfall in singles matches. Both the Superstars have shared the ring as partners and rivals frequently. Talking about The Architect’s singles victories over The Big Dog, Rollins (with The Authority at ringside) slayed Reigns in the main event of the RAW episode televised on 2nd March 2015. The match was a part of the buildup for Seth’s Money in the Bank contract cash-in, which eventually happened at WrestleMania 31.
Rollins then took a hiatus to take care of his injured knee, but after his return he defeated Reigns to regain his WWE Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in 2016. Though Dean Ambrose's successful MITB cash-in ruined Seth’s moment, he picked up an important win over his Shield brother on the show.
The last of his wins against Roman came in a gauntlet match on RAW in February 2018. As per the fans and critics, Seth had pulled off one of the best performances in his career on that night as he wrestled for over an hour and pinned Roman Reigns and John Cena in the same match. That bout got the fans behind The Architect.
