#2 Drew McIntyre - 77 matches
Many WWE fans had expected Drew McIntyre to win the WWE Universal Championship by mid-2019 but instead, WWE have reduced him to the role of Shane McMahon's sidekick. The Scottish Psychopath has transformed from a no-nonsense heel to a superstar who loves to celebrate and party after his boss wins. The McIntyre-McMahon duo has dominated WWE of late but still the Chosen One deserved much better booking than this.
Nevertheless, he has continued to be a loyal superstar and has took part in 77 matches thus far in 2019. He has been a part of every pay-per-view in one way or the other but he is yet to record his first pay-per-view victory in the year 2019.
It is being speculated that the alliance between Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre will continue at least until Extreme Rules where they will battle in a handicap match against Roman Reigns.
