Time to get a little controversial. We believe that The Big Dog was the right man at the right time carrying the Universal Championship before it was vacated, but there's little to no doubt that over the past few years, Roman Reigns has got a countless number of undeserved championship opportunities.

One example is after WrestleMania 34, where he lost clean to Brock Lesnar in the main event for the Universal Championship. However, just after that, it was announced that he got another opportunity against Lesnar at The Greatest Royal Rumble, once again failing.

Even after his Wellness Policy suspension a few years ago, he was randomly inserted into the United States title picture, with his "punishment" being a 100+ day reign with the title after beating Rusev.

We admit that Roman Reigns is the guy and the top full-time star of the company, but there's no doubt that he's gotten his fair share of undeserved chances, even when the authority was against him.
