#2 The Ascension

Has there ever been a bigger flop from being called up from NXT than the Ascension?

In the developmental brand, the pair of Konnor and Viktor were a true force to be reckoned with, delivering highly entertainment matches week in and week out as the yellow brand continued to grow into the beloved force it is today.

Since debuting on RAW in 2014, the group instantly became an afterthought, a real shame as the duo were the NXT Tag Team Champions for a year, defeating established teams like Too Cool.

Time is not on their side either, with both men in their late 30s, and whilst their longevity in the company is a victory, expect the two to leave as more NXT tag teams move to the main roster, such as the recently re-dubbed Viking Experience and the Undisputed Era.
