#2 Shane McMahon
At WWE Crown Jewel, the promotion planted the seeds for a Shane McMahon heel turn, with Shane winning the Best in the World trophy by replacing The Miz in the finals of the tournament.
Shane’s actions did not sit well with the WWE fans, as they booed the commissioner of SmackDown Live when he tried to explain his actions. The blue brand could use credible heels at the moment, and Shane, being an authority figure can bring some much needed intrigue to the product.
Shane also named himself in the Survivor Series team, and can turn on his teammates during the event. Shane could claim that he had to do everything by himself at Crown Jewel, and that he could no longer depend on his performers.
McMahon can take a page out of his father’s book, and claim that he wanted to teach his teammates a lesson at Survivor Series. The angle can play out until WrestleMania, where Shane battles a superstar representing the SmackDown Live locker room.
