John Cena is indeed the franchise player in WWE, and it may come across as a bit surprising that this interview hasn’t happened yet. Cena has appeared on an interview-based show on the network – but it was with Chris Jericho.

Whilst it was an entertaining broadcast, it didn’t really have the same kind of heat as we’re used to with Stone Cold.

Plus, seeing the old face of WWE chatting to the current face of WWE would certainly make for compelling television. We imagine that Austin will go off on his usual tangents as he so often does during these podcasts, but that’s part of the fun and hopefully, he’ll call Cena out on some things. Like, his heel persona on Total Bellas, for example!
