During his first run in WWE, Bobby Lashley was a dominant, yet very likeable babyface who was on his way to the top of the company before he made the sudden decision to leave.
Every WWE fan remembers Lashley's participation in the Battle of the Billionaires which pitted Vince McMahon against Donald Trump, and ended with Lashley victorious and McMahon bald.
Lashley works well as a heel in any wrestling company, but considering WWE is not allowing him to work the type of heel character he portrayed in Impact Wrestling, now is a good time for The Almighty to go back to being what worked for him during his initial WWE run - a babyface.
WWE might be concerned with his lack of mic skills, but his in-ring ability coupled with his incredible physique make him the perfect opponent for Brock Lesnar, and can help him achieve success as a top babyface.
