I will be the first to admit that Elias works his best as a heel, but he has been floundering without purpose for several months now on the main roster, and it's time for WWE to make a big change to one of the company's best overall talents.
Elias' initial run as a heel culminated in what looked to be a babyface turn, but WWE inexplicably decided to turn him back to being a heel (likely due to other Superstar injuries), and now he is a purposeless "drifter" who loses big matches on a weekly basis.
If WWE can pull the trigger on a babyface turn for Elias while keeping his cocky, A Star Is Born charisma, there's no reason why the guitar-wielding Superstar cannot become a top babyface on either Raw or Smackdown in a relatively short amount of time. Elias' previous babyface turn was on its way to being a success, and if WWE can perhaps write him a tune which charts on iTunes, he could be a major star in the company.
