#2 AJ Styles
The “Phenomenal One” always keeps saying how SmackDown Live is the house that he has built, and though it is true, there is a need for a character change for him. When he first came in, he was a heel against a baby-faced John Cena, which did some good things for his push (beat up John Cena).
Since then, he became a face and was really loved by the fans across the globe. However, that same-old-story got boring over the years and now he needs to really change his persona.
He had been a strong heel in TNA (now known as Impact Wrestling) and was one of the pioneers of the brand. He can really hold his own on the dark-side and can make a huge impact if given the opportunity to prove himself as a heel.
He doesn’t really need a title around his waist to make a huge impact, and if he does go berserk, he can win over the crowds. The only hurdle will be that Daniel Bryan has gone rogue, but the Superstar Shake-up might help in changing that.
