I had a chance to catch up with Matt Hardy for a Sportskeeda exclusive interview during his most recent India visit and he had the following to say about a potential return to the ring:
I took time off to heal some nagging injuries and I'll be back sooner rather than later. So, I've been doing this twenty-six years. I was just a little beat up. I was given a little time off. From when I've been back, for over a year and half, I was full time. I did everything.

It is not known if Matt Hardy will return alongside Bray Wyatt or if indeed, he will return as part of a separate gimmick. His last tag team run with Bray Wyatt received mixed reactions from the WWE Universe.
The truth is that the 'Woken' gimmick isn't really for everyone. Some appreciated it and others did not.
