5 WWE Superstars who should fall into the Lake of Reincarnation

The
The Lake of Reincarnation could do us all some
favours

This week on Raw, The Hardy Compound finally featured in WWE as Bray Wyatt paid Matt Hardy a visit to end The Great War in Ultimate Deletion. The match closed out Raw and saw Hardy push Wyatt into the Lake of Reincarnation, prompting everyone to ask, "Which Bray Wyatt will we see when he returns?"

I'm incredibly excited at the thought of us getting a throwback to maybe the Wyatt Family leader with the rocking chair, Panama hat and Hawaiian shirt; but it got me thinking, who else could do with falling into the lake and reappearing as their past self?

(Only Superstars appear who I think NEED a gimmick change. While I'd love to see The Wyatt Family back together, I love Braun Strowman and the Bludgeon Brothers - and while American Dragon would be a cool one-off, I'm just appreciating Daniel Bryan for now.)

So, who should fall in and be reincarnated?

I count down my top five.

#5 Dolph Ziggler

We ne
We need The Show Off back!

On face value, not a whole lot has changed about Dolph Ziggler, but the little things really matter. Remember when Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase to what is still one of the loudest pops ever heard on WWE television?

We're a far cry from that - and the pop wasn't all for the briefcase. Recently, we've had the displeasure of seeing Ziggler appear with a solemn demeanor and come out to no music. Sometimes some music, a record scratch killing the music...or starting the music. Either way, it's not working.

One good thing is, if Ziggler fell in the reincarnation and emerged as The Showoff again, the WWE Universe would love it! Everyone is still behind him anyway, and the short break may have stopped the character from going stale.

Come on, Dolph Ziggler. Show the world!

#4 Bo Dallas

We Bo-l
We Bo-
lieve

Bo Dallas is the one unique man on this list. He's enjoying his most popular run on WWE television right now as part of the Miztourage - but it still doesn't seem like enough.

For me, Dallas is one of the most underutilised men in WWE.

For a man who was once the longest reigning NXT Champion - only to be surpassed by Neville and Finn Balor - and even had an impressive main roster debut in the Royal Rumble, lasting 20 minutes, and eliminated the then Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, WWE never really strapped the rocket to Dallas in the long run.

I do think the Bo-lieve character could have been great. Give him a title and he's one of the most easily hated heels on the planet.

n
Dallas took the world by storm in NXT

In his first few weeks on the main roster, Bo Dallas even defeated Dolph Ziggler and The Great Khali - but a squash match vs Mark Henry sealed his fate and killed his push.

Dallas' most notable moments as a singles Superstar are probably Sting hitting him with a Scorpion Death Drop and being decimated by The Beast Incarnate.

WWE didn't really do it right the first time, so I'd thoroughly welcome Bo Dallas diving into the Lake of Reincarnation.

#3 Zack Ryder

Zack R
Zack Ryder should take a dip

This gimmick was lightyears ahead of itself! Zack Ryder is undoubtedly one of those guys in WWE who ALWAYS has the crowd reaction, but doesn't really get the push.

WWE gave Ryder a HUGE moment at WrestleMania where he won the Intercontinental Championship, only to lose it on his first defence.

In this age of social media, I'd love to see Ryder take a dip in the Lake of Reincarnation and come back out as the Internet Champion again! Especially with WWE doing their "selfie" style promos, this one could run and run.

In fact, you could run a WHOLE rivalry on this where Zack Ryder takes over the internet and Matt Hardy, or anyone else for that matter, has to try and "hack" the platforms he's appearing on to get rid of him.

Ryder seems to be floating about the mid-card, so a swim in the lake could reinvent the former Intercontinental Champion!

#2 The Undertaker

If the
If the Undertaker returns, surely it's as Big Evil

Who'd have thought this would be the most likely option on the list?

The American Badass.

Well, if The Undertaker reappears to face John Cena at WrestleMania, I don't think a swim in the lake will be needed to bring back Big Evil.

While The Undertaker's Deadman gimmick may be the greatest gimmick of all time, he retired it. The WWE Universe did not become a sobbing mess at WrestleMania 33 for nothing - but everyone would love to see Taker back for a match against Cena.

The only way to do it? Well, Cena has been issuing some personal attacks on the man, rather than the Deadman. All you have to do is again have John Cena reiterate, "Show me a sign, Undertaker!"

Motorbike revs, Big Evil comes out. John Cena versus American Badass add to a stacked Mania card!

#1 John Cena

The Doct
We need a lesson in Thuganomics one more time

I love John Cena and his current gimmick is SOLID!

Cena has possibly been the most fluid transition from the start of career to present, maybe barring the Prototype gimmick.

It still seems that Cena has never changed his gimmick but has simply become what he is today seamlessly. But if we think back to the Doctor of Thuganomics, what a great gimmick that was.

With Cena getting older and, well, being the biggest face in WWE, this one seems unlikely. The 16-time World Champion has become a brand with the matching hat, sweatbands and t-shirt becoming a staple of who he is. But if the Doctor of Thuganomics would return for one night in heel mode, the WWE Universe would explode!

We've actually seen more slightly heel-ish moves from John Cena this year than perhaps ever before, so never say never...
