#2 Big E

2019 saw The New Day as a main event level group with all three men contributing in the early stages of the year. Big E and Xavier Woods were just as instrumental in getting Kingston his title shot against Daniel Bryan as Kingston was himself.
The former Iowa Hawkeye has won both the NXT Championship and Intercontinental Championships during the earlier stages of his tenure with the company. He's primarily been used as a stalwart member of the tag division but when given the chance in singles competition, Big E delivers every time. Just go back and re-watch the gauntlet match from a few years ago. Bryan and he started things out in great fashion.
Since Kingston got his shot last year, he has been campaigning for Big E to get his in 2020. I cannot argue with the former WWE Champion because his teammate is one of the most entertaining and complete performers (in-ring and on the mic) in all of pro wrestling.
Big E could easily carry the main event scene on SmackDown because he's everything that a Champion should be - strong, physical, charismatic, and great at delivering promos. As mentioned in the previous slides, the title scenes throughout the WWE need different stars interjected into the respective scenes so as to not get stagnant. Big E would never let anything be stagnant due to his magnetic charisma and humor. Oh yeah, and he has a pretty great in-ring game as well.
