#4 The Miz

The Miz as IC Champion is awesome.

Out of every Superstar on this list, The Miz was the last one to be a babyface. But it did not go well. He essentially was Shane McMahon's punching bag. It seemed like The Miz would be a great good guy thanks to his rising popularity, but WWE stripped him off his edge and cunning brilliance.

And just like that, the former WWE Champion now has two failed babyface runs to his name. Luckily, WWE turned Miz back into a heel and paired him with John Morrison. And it seems like the two could be splitting up in the near future.

While Morrison would be a fantastic face, Miz has to remain a heel. He was phenomenal between 2016 and 2018, one of the most consistent WWE performers of the modern era. Most of The Miz's goodwill with the fans stemmed from his excellent heel work.

The experiment failed, particularly because of how strong Shane O'Mac looked. Nevertheless, WWE should keep The Miz as a villain. He is an A-Lister who is cocky and brash. How he was able to become a babyface is incredible.
