As WWE approached WrestleMania 30 in 2014, one huge topic of conversation was Bray Wyatt.

After debuting at Summerslam 2013, Wyatt was set to compete at his very first Mania, and his target: John Cena.

In the weeks running up to the show, The Eater of Worlds vowed to defeat Cena, who at all times attempted to rise above hate.

It was an exciting match, but the overall tone was let down slightly when Cena defeated Wyatt, in what many thought was the wrong call.

A Wyatt win would've definitely elevated the new star, and after so many historic Mania wins, it wasn't like Cena needed it.

Though Wyatt would get his win back in a cage match at the next pay per view, it was clear that his ship had sailed.
