To give WWE a little bit of credit here, Big E has only really been considered a singles wrestler on the main roster over the last year or so. Before that, he was firmly a tag team wrestler, so there was no real need for him to enter the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Still, Kofi Kingston has appeared in several Money in the Bank ladder matches and if we're being honest, Big E has a ton more singles star potential than Kingston. So they could've at least put him in the odd match over the years to let him shine a little bit.
Thankfully, now that WWE is investing in Big E as a singles star they are about to right this wrong as he has qualified for the Men's MITB ladder match at this year's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
He'll be taking on Ricochet, John Morrison, fellow first-time MITB match entrant Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, King Nakamura, and Seth Rollins. Hopefully, it is Big E that wins, as he arguably needs the boost the most out of all the competitors.
