Elias has been drifting back and forth for a while now. While he had a nice couple of months as a babyface, WWE probably felt as though his gimmick was naturally a heel one, and they turned him back again.
Last year at WrestleMania, he promised the "greatest performance of all time", which ended up being an Attitude Adjustment from a frustrated John Cena. This year, it seems to be about the same, and we can expect him to come out for a performance and perhaps be interfered by a legend.

We understand that there's no place on the card for him, but putting him in a multi-man match atleast would probably be suitable. He too has worked very hard to earn the spot, and while he would love to sing a song, chances are that he'd probably like to wrestle on the grandest stage of them all as well.
