Make no mistake about it. Kofi Kingston may be WWE Champion now, but Roman Reigns is still Vince McMahon's #1 guy and the reality is that it's probably going to stay that way until the day he retires.

Reigns has received surprisingly favourable reactions even a couple of months into his return. Perhaps it's the fact that he fought and defeated leukaemia that made fans a lot more partial to him, but if things are going as smoothly as they are, Reigns will find himself back on top sooner than later.

The biggest sign is the fact that Reigns is a part of SmackDown Live heading into the FOX deal. With more emphasis given on SmackDown post-October, it's clear that Vince McMahon will want Reigns to be front and centre when that happens.
Sooner than later, Reigns will be WWE Champion again and you can believe that.
