Mickie James is one of the best and most well-known female wrestlers to have come out of WWE. The five-time WWE Women’s Champion proved time and time again that she was dedicated to performing well in the ring and portraying her character extremely well.
Outside the ring, James was always interested in pursuing a career in music and had an interest in Country music.
The WWE Superstar managed to bag the Native American Music Award in 2017
James released her first country album titled on iTunes named Strangers & Angels in 2010. Following the success of her first album, James started to take more interest in producing music.
In 2016, she released a single titled "Shooting Blanks" which ended up earning her a Nammy for "Song of the Year" in 2017. James was also inducted into The Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame during the same ceremony and was also awarded the Jim Thorpe Sports Award.
