Jason Jordan had a promising run on RAW where he was portrayed as Kurt Angle's son. Jordan, though, had to be pulled out of WWE television to get neck surgery, with reports suggesting that he could be out for a year. This was back in February 2018, but over two years on, Jordan has still not wrestled in WWE.

Jason Jordan's last match in WWE was at Royal Rumble 2018, where he teamed up with Seth Rollins to face the team of Sheamus and Cesaro.

Jordan is now a backstage producer and he recently featured in a segment on SmackDown. Fightful recently reported about Jordan's in-ring career:

"Also on SmackDown, his (Chad Gable) buddy Jason Jordan popped up. Jason Jordan has been out of action for two and a half years with some neck issues. He has been a producer for quite a while, one that people seem to like rather well, but no timetable on his return or if he could ever return. Last I heard in the Summer of last year, he was having grip issues and there were no plans for him to come back."

Kurt Angle, Jordan's storyline father, recently revealed that the two would have had a match at WrestleMania.
