The Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns match has been teased several times but hasn't happened even once.

During their first confrontation in 2017, people got excited about a potential "Spear vs. Spear" showdown. Finally, in March 2020, Roman challenged Goldberg to a Universal title match at WrestleMania 36.

Unfortunately, the bout didn't occur as The Tribal Chief pulled himself out of the show. However, the WCW icon could now return and compete against Roman Reigns.

Goldberg only has one match left on his contract, and he would like to utilize this opportunity by putting the Tribal Chief over. By doing so, the two-time Universal Champion will also be able to end his career on a high note.

AJ Styles is amongst the most formidable opponents Roman Reigns has ever faced. The duo feuded for the first time in 2016.

They had two consecutive pay-per-view contests, where Reigns barely got the victory. Although AJ didn't win, he successfully established himself as a main-event player.

The two men haven't faced each other since then. But it seems that time has arrived for AJ to switch brands and go after the Universal Champion. The Phenomenal One has all the weapons in his arsenal to combat the Head of the Table.

The Universal Championship is the only WWE title that has eluded AJ Styles. By targeting the Tribal Chief, he could finally capture the prestigious Championship. It would be a joyful moment for his admirers, who want to see The Phenomenal One as the world Champion again.
