#1. Former WWE Superstar Murphy
Buddy Murphy's eight-year tenure with WWE came to an end back in April when he was one of several superstars who became a victim of budget cuts.
Murphy came through the ranks in NXT where he is a former NXT Tag Team Champion before being moved over to 205 Live and winning the Cruiserweight Championship.
The Australian star was once WWE's "Best Kept Secret" and was able to become an integral part of the storyline between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio throughout 2020. After Rollins left the company on paternity leave at the end of the year, Murphy was seemingly surplus to requirements on the SmackDown brand.
According to CageMatch.net, Murphy only wrestled two matches in 2021 before his release in April and wasn't able to pick up a victory.
Both of these matches came against Cesaro back in March when Murphy was looking to impress The Messiah but was unable to follow through on his promise of a victory.
Murphy didn't make many appearances for WWE in 2021 as the creative team struggled to find a way to slot him into ongoing storylines ahead of his release.
