Morrus went on to have an unsuccessful run in WWE following WCW's demise. He worked as the head trainer for WWE NXT for years on end until his eventual exit in 2015. Mere months before Lesnar was wreaking havoc on the main roster, he lost two straight matches to Morrus.

On the January 12, 2002 edition of WWE Live, Brock Lesnar lost a match to Morrus. The next night, the duo faced off again, and Lesnar failed to defeat Morrus for the second time in a row.
The two never collided again, and it's strange to learn that Lesnar has never beaten Morrus despite wrestling him on two occasions. Around two months before these back-to-back victories over Lesnar, Morrus teamed up with The Beast on Sunday Night Heat. They lost to Billy and Chuck at the event.
