He was the first member of The Alliance to invade WWE, on the May 28, 2001, edition of WWE RAW. In WWE, he became Intercontinental Champion as well as a four-time Tag Team Champion.
In early 2002, Storm faced Brock Lesnar in a series of three matches on WWE Live. The bouts took place on back-to-back nights, with Storm pinning Lesnar on the first two occasions. Lesnar won the third match by pinning Storm on January 6, 2002, thus ending the short-lived rivalry.
Lesnar would soon debut on the main roster and become the youngest WWE Champion in history. He achieved this feat soon after winning the 2002 King of the Ring tournament. Storm remained a WWE mainstay until ECW One Night Stand 2005, where he defeated Chris Jericho with the help of former ECW star Justin Credible.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
