#3 Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre to close out WWE Survivor Series 2020

Arguably the most hyped match for WWE Survivor Series 2020 was the mega-clash between the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Reigns and McIntyre have been two of the most protected Superstars in WWE this year and have impressed everyone a lot.

Hours before WWE Survivor Series 2020, it was reported that their match is scheduled to be the closing segment for the pay-per-view. While it wouldn't have been a bad choice, the company went ahead with The Undertaker closing Survivor Series 2020 with his final farewell and chilling goodbye to the WWE Universe.

Nonetheless, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns had one of the best matches of the night that saw The Tribal Chief emerge victorious, thanks to some outside interference from Jey Uso. The way the match was booked ensured that McIntyre looked strong even in defeat at WWE Survivor Series 2020.

WWE will surely continue this rivalry between Reigns and McIntyre sometime in the future, but as of now both of them will focus on their next challengers. An interesting stat to note is that the WWE Champion has never defeated the Universal Champion at Survivor Series.
