5 WWE UK Championship tournament competitors likely to join the WWE

As an eleven-year pro and world traveled wrestler, Mark Andrews remains one of the tournament favorites to earn a contract at the conclusion of the tournament.

#3 Trent Seven

Could this seasoned talent be the newest addition to the WWE roster?

While he is one of the older competitors in the tournament, Seven has only been competing since 2009. What is most notable about him is his time with current UK promotion, Progress Wrestling. As part of Progress, he is a two-time tag team champion, having teamed with both Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne on separate occasions.

What has made UK talents so popular is the hybrid of styles and adaptability that they demonstrate. In Seven's case, he competes using a strong style element. Much like other members of the tournament, he stands just under six feet, but fans shouldn't be fooled by his height. His intense and fierce strikes are frightening to see, let alone receive.

Seven has also competed for Chikara, and in the process captured that promotion's tag team championship. Still, fans need not worry about how a two-time tag team champion it will fare in this special singles tournament. He has some notable singles experience. Seven is proving that at thirty-five years of age, it is still possible to achieve your wrestling dreams, and this tournament could very well be it. Could a WWE contract be soon to follow?
