In January, mere hours before RAW 25, then-Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was fired after allegations of sexual assault were made public.
Had he not been fired, Amore would've continued as Champion, meaning no tournament, which culminated with Cedric Alexander winning the purple-strapped title at WrestleMania.
In addition, Amore would've impacted RAW as well, as at the time of his firing, he was in some sort of love triangle between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss.
