Chelsea Green hasn't been a featured character on NXT for a few months. She previously broke off from the Robert Stone Brand after she and Charlotte Flair picked up a tag team win. We weren't given much explanation as to why Green fired Stone, but the prevailing thought was so that WWE could move her up to either RAW or SmackDown; she did have a match on RAW before the global pandemic.

As a part of her NXT gimmick, Green thought she was the top woman in all of WWE. She also believed she was better than everyone even though she seemed to lose more matches than she won.

One roadblock to her being the mystery woman in the vignette could be if she is revealed to be a member of RETRIBUTION. WWE can literally decide who they want to be the actual members of the group on the day they unmask. Until then, anyone can be used under the hoodies and face coverings.

With Bayley having run through the entire division while also coming up on a year as WWE SmackDown Women's Champion, she desperately needs new challengers. I feel that she should have already lost the title, perhaps at WrestleMania 36 or SummerSlam, but I'm not a WWE booker.

Green could be revealed as a main roster member and this could be the start of that push.
