#2 Shayna Baszler
Shayna Baszler has been a part of all of WWE's annual gimmick matches this year so far, with impactful showings at the Royal Rumble and inside the Elimination Chamber. She was also a part of the wacky and cinematic Money in the Bank Ladder Match. And with her current position, Baszler would have likely been a part of Queen of the Ring as well.
Like Charlotte Flair, the clue is in her nickname. The Queen of Spades has been dominant under the WWE umbrella so far but lost a bit of momentum after failing to dethrone Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Baszler would have been an excellent candidate to be the first Queen of the Ring.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
She could have used it to challenge Asuka for the RAW Women's Championship while racking up major victories against other credible performers in an elimination-style tournament. Because that is what she does best, bulldozing through her competition.
Shayna Baszler has a history in WWE tournaments, reaching the final of the first Mae Young Classic in 2017. She lost to Kairi Sane back then, so Queen of the Ring could have been Baszler's redemption, as well a good way to maintain her push.
