#1 Sasha Banks
In terms of continuing pushes and furthering angles, there may not have been a better choice of winner for the first-ever Queen of the Ring tournament this year than Sasha Banks. She is currently one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Bayley, with the two of them looking likely to explode very soon.
The two of them are partaking in a slow-burning storyline over the SmackDown Women's Championship, with the tag title victory a slight detour to prolong the angle. But had WWE gone ahead with the Queen of the Ring tournament, Sasha would have been the perfect choice to win it.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
The Legit Boss is an exceptional in-ring worker, one of the best in the world. A run over the course of the tournament would have reaffirmed Sasha's status as one of the top Superstars in the company, after years of disappointing booking.
A Queen of the Ring victory would have also set up the grand meeting between the two best friends over the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam. However more interesting that may have been, WWE has done a great job with the Sasha and Bayley story so far.
Once Sasha Banks finally snaps and turns on her best friend, we will be off to the races. But seeing them use the Queen of the Ring tournament to finally reach the boiling point in their relationship would have been perfect.
