Maryse is a former Diva Search contestant as well as a former Divas Champion, but much like Mickie James, she left the company before making her return later. Maryse quit WWE back in 2011 but continued her relationship with The Miz, a relationship that later brought her back to WWE in 2016 when she took her place by his side.
Maryse has mainly returned to the company as on-screen support for her husband but has also stepped in the ring numerous times to face off against real-life couples Nikki Bella and John Cena as well as Brie and Daniel Bryan.

Maryse announced back in 2017 that the couple was expecting their first child, before taking hiatus from the company. The former Champion gave birth to her daughter Monroe in March 2018 before returning to the ring to battle Brie and Daniel Bryan just four months later.
At Elimination Chamber the following year, Maryse announced that the couple was expecting their second child, who arrived in September 2019. Maryse has been seen on WWE TV since but is yet to return to the ring.
