A couple of weeks before Stephanie McMahon's slap, Ric Flair fell victim to another vicious one. Flair and his daughter took to the ring to discuss Charlotte's controversial victory over Natalya the previous night at Payback. Referee Charles Robinson awarded Charlotte the victory despite Natalya not taping out.
The segment involved Robinson admitting that Natalya did not tap out but screamed, 'Stop it' and Ric and Charlotte making fun of The Queen of Harts.

Robinson denied that his admiration and respect for Ric Flair affected his decision. Natalya then walked into the ring, stating that the problem was not Robinson or Charlotte but Ric and that the Harts were superior to the Flairs. She then managed to block a cheap shot from the RAW Women's Champion before slapping Ric Flair right across the face.
Natalya then put the two-time Hall of Famer in the Sharpshooter as Charlotte rushed to save her dad. The Queen dragged her father out of the ring after another humiliating moment for the legend.
