A week before clashing in the ring at TLC 2015, Divas Champion Charlotte Flair, along with her father Ric Flair, insulted Paige during their appearance on Miz TV on Monday Night RAW.
Paige had attacked Charlotte, telling her she did not earn her place as champion, accusing her of riding her father's coattails. She even mentioned Charlotte's late brother, Reid, saying, "Your little baby brother, he didn't have much fight in him, did he?". The Miz urged The Queen to respond, which she did.

After Ric Flair ensured he was going to be in his daughter's corner during her match with Paige, The Divas Champion wanted her opponent to come to the ring ahead of their clash at TLC.
Surprisingly, the former champion Paige made her way to the ring, but The Queen avoided any sort of altercation before their match and chose to leave the ring. Her father, on the contrary, was not as lucky as he was slapped by the Anti-Diva before his daughter's eyes.
