Asuka was undefeated throughout her time in NXT and came up to the main roster as one of the hottest prospects in the company. The Japanese star is said to have some of the hardest hitting moves in the WWE and judging by her encounters with James Ellsworth, Asuka would have no problem handing her own in a match against a male superstar.
There was once a time when inter-gender matches were the norm and the women of WWE like Trish Stratus and Lita were able to fight Chris Jericho and Christian in a straight up tag team match, but this isn't the kind of thing that the company likes to promote anymore, which is why Asuka has only been able to test her mettle against someone like James Ellsworth in recent years, but it's pretty clear that she's able to do much more.
