Punk and Lee
AJ Lee's love triangle storyline with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in 2012 was a highlight of her WWE career. Lee had been with Bryan for a while, but things turned ugly soon after Bryan's loss to Sheamus at WrestleMania 28. AJ soon began showing affection towards Punk, who was engaged in a rivalry with Bryan at the time. AJ did the unthinkable on an episode of WWE RAW and proposed to Punk. Before the WWE Champion could say anything, Bryan interrupted the segment.

Later, Punk confronted Lee in the ring and made it clear that he wasn't going to marry her, leaving her heartbroken. Lee ended up slapping Punk, as well as Bryan. She would later receive a proposal from Bryan, which she accepted. During the exchange of vows on the RAW 1000 episode, Lee left Bryan at the altar and accepted the position of RAW GM, offered to her by Vince McMahon himself.
She made sure to exact revenge on Punk and Bryan by forcing them to compete against their wishes during her stint as an authoritative figure.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
