John Cena was the face of WWE for such a long time that it's easy to forget the things he has accomplished. He's a five-time United States Champion, a four-time World Tag-Team Champion, and he's tied with Ric Flair for most world title runs in the company at 16. He's also a two-time Royal Rumble and one-time Money in the Bank winner.
But you will also notice his name missing from the superstars who've won the King of the Ring tournament. Why has John Cena, one of the greatest wrestlers to ever do it, never won a King of the Ring tournament? Well, it's because he's never entered one. If he had I'm sure he would've won it.
Why didn't he enter one? It's because by the time Cena came around, WWE had stopped holding the King of the Ring event as a regular pay-per-view. And when they did bring it back, Cena was already the face of the company and didn't need to be involved in the tournament.
Still, it's weird to think of someone as massive and accomplished as Cena not having his name alongside other winners like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart.
