Born in 1962, Brian Pillman played professional basketball along with balancing a career in professional wrestling. He became famous in the 1980s with some great performances in 'Stampede Wrestling'. Later, he participated in ECW, WCW, and WWF in the 1990s.

The Yellow Dog was known for his agility although an injury badly damaged his ankle. WWF created a gimmick 'The Loose Cannon' which earned him a reputation of being bad and unpredictable. In the Attitude Era, there was an angle where Steve Austin invades Pillman's house only for Pillman to aim his gun at him in self-defense.

He was a good friend of Austin, and his feud with Goldust was legendary. The Hart Foundation and Pillman also defeated the American team of Ken Shamrock, The Legion of Doom, Goldust, and Austin in a tag team match.

In 1997, Dude Love and Pillman were scheduled to wrestle when the news came that Pillman was found dead at his hotel. After the autopsy, the doctors attributed the cause of his death to arteriosclerotic heart disease. This disease had also taken his father's life.

Pillman will always be remembered for playing a high-flying and striking cruiserweight with excellent technical skills.
