Dominik Mysterio, son of WWE legend Rey Mysterio, jumped directly to the main roster without passing through NXT. He appeared on SmackDown in March and April 2019 to help his father during his feud with Samoa Joe. He also interfered in his father's match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, where they created a memorable moment delivering a double "619" to The Beast incarnate.

Throughout last year, Dominik got involved alongside his father in a feud with Seth Rollins and Murphy. The son of Rey Mysterio made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam in a defeat against Seth Rollins.

Following his in-ring debut, Dominik Mysterio became a regular competitor on Raw and teamed up with his father several times. Both moved to SmackDown following the 2020 WWE Draft. Their feud with Rollins continued until November, when Rey defeated the Friday Night Messiah in a No Holds Barred match. The father and son would enter another rivalry in the following weeks with King Corbin.

After losing twice to Corbin, Dominik took revenge by eliminating his rival from the Royal Rumble last January. A few days later, he defeated Corbin in a match on SmackDown. However, the 23-year-old superstar and his father suffered a loss against Corbin and Sami Zayn for a chance to compete at the Elimination Chamber to determine the number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship.

Dominik is currently the youngest competitor on the main roster. He has shown potential and athleticism and is thought to be an upcoming main eventer of the future.
