50 years of WWE: Memorable moments and incidents

It’s been just over 50 years since the inception of the most entertaining sports company.

Let’s recall 50 of those incidents from the history of WWE which left their mark as time passed by arousing emotions of all sorts inside us. The entries are in no order and are open to changes.

1. Steve Austin wins the 1996 King of the Ring.

2. Triple H tombstones The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27 and Undertaker kicks out of it.

3. Mike Tyson and Steve Austin brawl. Austin wins the WWF Championship after a pinfall on Michaels which Tyson counts too fast.

4. The MSG incident.

5. The infamous ‘Montreal Screwjob’.

6. Ivan Koloff defeats Bruno Sammartino and ends his 2803 day long WWF Championship reign.

7. Hulk Hogan defeats Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 3.

9. Shawn Michaels wins the World Heavyweight Championship in the first ever Elimination Chamber Match at Survivor Series (2002).

10. Team WWF wins at Survivor Series (2001).

21. Steve Austin gives a beer bath to the “Corporation”.

22. Chris Jericho becomes the first Undisputed Champion at Vengeance (2001).

34. Steve Austin and Booker T brawl inside a grocery store.

35. Eric Bischoff becomes the new GM of Raw.

36. Edge spears Mick Foley into a burning table at WrestleMania 22.

37. Steven Austin attacks Vince McMahon in the hospital.

38. Edge spears Jeff Hardy at WrestleMania X-Seven.
