It was one of the most epic ending WrestleMania matches in history when Bret "The Hitman" Hart and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels took a 60-minute Ironman Match into overtime.
Before this epic match began, HBK made one of the most thrilling entrances in WrestleMania history when he came down from the rafters on a zip line. Check out that entrance below:
After 60 thrilling minutes, there were still no pinfalls. Then WWF President Gorilla Monsoon met with Vince McMahon and they agreed that "there must be a winner." After hitting the Sweet Chin Music twice in overtime, HBK's then 12-year career finally reached the pinnacle with Vince McMahon famously saying, "the boyhood dream has come true" as he clutched the WWE Championship.
