The New Day is the longest reigning tag team titles in WWE History and they are 8-time Tag Team Champions

The New Day is one of the most successful three-man teams in the history of professional wrestling. The team has held numerous tag team titles in WWE, and frequently defending them through the Freebird rules.

The group has been somewhat crippled recently due to the injury of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, but with Woods due back soon, we could see the return of New Day sooner rather than later.

While the team has previously dominated the tag team division on both SmackDown and RAW, it has also helped Kofi Kingston win his first-ever WWE title and currently sees Big E in the middle of a singles push of his own.

However, with Woods return from injury soon and Kingston also recovering from his own injury, the New Day could help establish the first-ever trios title in the history of the company and cement its legacy as the best three-man group of all time.
